Zeemote Bluetooth Gaming Controller Coming to Android?
By Admin on Apr 28, 2010 with 0
Zeemote, the creators of the popular JS1 mobile gaming controller, have released their SDK to Android developers. This means we could eventually see Zeemote compatible Android games in the near future. The Zeemote JS1 gives you a unique gaming experience and offers true analog gaming controls for your phone. It connects to your phone just like any other Bluetooth device and comes with its own application. Zeemote hasn’t specified a release date but they indicated that a new developer program will be available in the next few weeks.
It will be interesting to see just how much of an impact the Zeemote JS1 Bluetooth gaming controller will have on Android gaming. Droid powered phones are making incredible strides in the mobile gaming space and some think they will catch up to the iPhone one day. Last year Zeemote released the JS1 for the BlackBerry but it didn’t do so well. That’s mainly because of the state of BlackBerry gaming not because of the controller.
