T-Mobile Introduces the myTouch 3G Slide

T-Mobile has officially announced the myTouch 3G Slide Android phone and it will be hitting stores this June.  The myTouch 3G Slide is not quite a high-end Android phone but it has plenty of features that will make it a popular seller.  It comes with a full slide out QWERTY keyboard that will surely make original myTouch 3G owners jealous.  It also comes with a customized version of Android 2.1 that is creating a ton of buzz.

The unique HTC sense UI on the myTouch 3G Slide is something we have never seen before on an Android phone.  Users will enjoy the Faves Gallery app which lets you closely interact with 20 of your favorite friends.  T-Mobile has also included a unique myModes feature that will personalize your phone when you’re at work with widgets, themes and homescreen apps.  Once you reach home you can set it to automatically switch back to a more laid back homescreen experience.  Don’t forget about the Genius Button which allows you to quickly access voice commands with a click of a button.  The myTouch 3G slide will be available in three different colors red, black and white.  Stay tuned to Simply Droid for more info and previews as we get set for the June release date.
