Football fanatics crave 24 hour NFL coverage and that is just what they get with the NFL Mobile app.  Previously this application was only available for Sprint users but that will soon change as Verizon will get in on the action.

It has been confirmed that NFL mobile will be released on Verizon today.  It will be available for the Motorola Droid, Devour and the HTC Droid Eris.  Fans can enjoy the app for free until January 11, 2011.  At that time it will become a paid application.
