Google Maps Navigation can now be used outside of U.S.

As most people are already aware Google Maps Navigation is a US only application, which is why it does not show up on the Motorola Milestone. Well, until now that is. It appears that with a little hacking you can get this fantastic app working outside the U.S. The folks over at Electricpig have a tutorial found here.

As you can see from the picture above they have it working on their HTC Magic. Once you follow the tutorial you will be lacking voice commands, but everything else should be fully functional.
