Android 2.2 (Froyo) Released to the Nexus One

Nexus One owners have received an extra special treat in the form of Android 2.2 AKA Froyo. The update which was supposed to be coming to the Nexus One in the next few weeks has already arrived. Several Nexus One owners received the OTA update late Saturday night which means the rollout process has begun.
If you just can’t wait for the OTA update and want Android 2.2 now, head over to Phandroid for an easy way to update to Froyo manually. In case you missed it Android 2.2 is a pretty significant update. It will include some great new features like Adobe Flash support, SD card app backup and a new homescreen tips widget. Best of all Android 2.2 is a lot faster than previous versions. Now the question is which Android phone will be the next to receive Android 2.2?
