Android addicts patiently waiting for the Motorola Droid X2 will enjoy reading this. Android Central is reporting that Verizon will be releasing Droid X2 on May 26th. This is according to Verizon’s internal listings which indicate the launch date. While the X2 has been somewhat under the radar it will still be another solid Droid device.
The Droid X2 comes with a 4.3 qHD touchscreen and is powered by a Tegra 2 1GHz processor. At this point it looks like it will come packaged with Android 2.2 but we wouldn’t be surprised if 2.3 came into play. You get a 8mp camera with dual LED flash and an HD camcorder. The X2 looks a lot like the original Droid X and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Keep it locked her for more news about the Motorola Droid X2.
