Have you ever noticed that by default the birthdays and anniversaries of your contacts do not show up on your Android phone’s calendar? There’s a very easy way to sync that information from your contacts to the calendar. Just follow these couple steps:
Sync Contact’s Birthdays with your Android phone’s calendar
- Go to www.google.com/calendar
- Log on with the same Google account that you use for you Android phone
- Under the Other calendars click Add then select Browse Interesting Calendars
- At the Interesting Calendars section click the More tab
- You will see “Contacts’ birthdays and events” click subscribe and there you go! As simple as that!
It seems like such an easy addition and normal thing to have on the calendar, I wonder why the phones don’t come with this enabled by default?
Anyone else have any other cool tricks that maybe people don’t know about?
