Google Earth Now Available in Android Market


The ever popular Google Earth is now available for download in the Android Market. Android users will be able to search for businesses, get driving directions, and explore great places in Google Earth while on the go. Google Earth for Android is available on all all Android devices including the Droid (2.1 or later) and the Google’s Nexus One.

Search by voice for cities, places, and businesses. Browse layers of geographic information including roads, borders, places, photos and more”

    You mention Droid 2.1 and later; but are there any, besides maybe rooted phones. The on again, off again 2.1 update for the Motorola Droid is getting a little frustrating. If Verizon came out and said “plan to release in July”, I wouldn’t like the waiting, but then at least we would know. It will be cool to use Google Earth on the Droid!
