    Unable to perform Factory Reset on Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9003

    Factory Reset not working on Galaxy S, as i tried many time to perform this but couldn't succeed. Factory reset process failing every time with my android GT-I9003. What to do, is there any ways available to perform it? Need help!!

    If you want to Factory reset the Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9003 and unable to do so try to hard reset the Device.Warning before trying to hard reset the device please backup the data stored in internal memory.To hard reset do the following:
    1.Power down your device using power button.
    2.Remove the battery for few seconds once powered down the device.
    3.Now press and hold Volume up + Home + Power button for about 5 sec (Press and hold these keys at the same time).
    4.Once the Android logo pops up, let go of the buttons.
    5.Now you will enter menu with options like reboot system,apply update,wipe data/factory reset,wipe cache partition,apply update from catch.
    6.Select "wipe data/factory reset" using volume buttons to scroll and power button to select.
    7.Now the recovery will ask to confirm your decision.Use volume button up/down to scroll,and select Yes using the power button.
    8.Now you should be brought to system recovery menu.Use power button to select reboot.
    9.Phone will power down and turn back on factory restored.Hard reset complete.

    There are 2 ways for resetting the device,one is resetting via settings->privacy->reset
    If not working then you need to hard reset the device by doing the following
    1.Switch off the device
    2.hold power button,home button,volume button up simultaneously
    3.pop up menu appears as it will be asking some options
    4.click wipe data/ factoryreset by using volume button to scroll and power button to select
    5.Then it will ask for reboot confirm it by using power button
    6.Your device will get resetted when it is turning on

    There are various ways to restore factory settings in your Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9003. I have listed down here all the possible ways and you can choose any one of them to get your phone restored as per the factory setting.

    I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU TO TAKE A BACK UP OF ALL OF YOUR DATA LIKE SMS's, CONTACTS, EMAILS AND EVERYTHING ELSE AND REMOVE YOUR MEMORY CARD OR TAKE A BACK UP FOR IT ALSO.

    First method :- Once you take a back up then just press Enter *2767*3855# and you can easily make your phone to go to the settings initially installed at the factory (Factory setting mode)

    Second method :- Go to Menu
    ^
    Settings
    ^
    Privacy
    ^
    Factory data reset (THIS WILL RESET YOUR PHONE TO FACTORY SETTINGS)

    Third method :- Press volume up + power + Home key together and after then select erase or clean data.

    Reasons for Factory Reset not working ---->

    * Factory Reset may demand for phone lock password or PUK password.
    * Factory Reset many times do not work due to heavy load in phone memory.
    * Many times operative files in phone can not be deleted , result in Factory reset failure.
    * Factory reset should not be used many times.

    Solutions ------>
    * Switch off your phone and reset batteries . Then open after minutes.
    * Format your phone or SD card memory first then try it.
    * Delete virus infected files before trying .
    * Scan your phone fully and then try for Factory reset

    If the Factory Data Reset is not performed in the normal way then try the other way

    --->Switch off your device

    --->Then hold down the Power key+Volume Up+Home Button simultaneously

    --->Then your mobile will take you to a screen showing list of options

    --->There select Wipe data/Factory Reset

    --->After that your device will ask you erase all contents and reboot your system

    --->After then the system is resetting and erase all the phone contents and again turning on your device

    Thats it!!!Factory reset is done in the other way

    First back up your all datav in your memory card.Then remove it from your phone.
    After that firstly you can do,go to MENU->PRIVACY->FACTORY RESET SETTING
    Next process you can do,press (up vollume key + power key+ home key) together,.Then select the erase or clean or remove data..
    Another process is , dial *2767*3855# and press the call botton ..
    These processes will solve your problem

    I will help you to solve your problem,don't worry just follow as i say.

    There are two ways to reset your phone to factory settings.

    1.Firstly go to main menu of your phone.

    2.Now tap on the option of 'Settings' tab.

    3.Now tap on the option of 'Privacy' tab.

    4.Now tap on thew option of 'Factory Reset' option.

    5.Now it will ask to remove Gmail account and then proceed for resetting.

    Or

    You can do the Hard Rest option.

    1.Hold the power button+Volume up button+Home key all at once.

    2.Now you will be prompted with a new window showing some options.

    3.Such as Wipe data/Factory reset.

    4.Now select the factory reset option by using the volume keys.

    That's it will get rebooted and the factory reset will be done.

    very easy problem to solve...Just do the following steps: For this Watch


    1) Go to "settings"


    2)Choose "Privacy or Backup & reset"


    3)Cress "Factory data reset"


    4)GO down and ensure that "Erase internal memory".


    5)chec this will erase all data in internal memory including
    music,video..


    6)Then click "reset phone"

    I will solve your problem into easy steps .....

    So first of all go and turn on your device and then just go to the home screen and then just click on to the settings option...And then just choose the Privacy or Backup & reset....After that just press on to the Factory data reset....And then just go down and ensure that Erase internal memory....Now at the end just check this will erase all data in internal memory including music,video..And then just click to reset phone....ALL Done .....

    Don't worry my dear friend i will tell you how you can factory reset your phone.you have to do as i am suggesting.first you go t the main menu and tap on settings icon. Then from there you have to go to restore and backup and then back up your data from there.after that you have to tap on the restore from the same menu.after that when your phone is restored then just restart your phone.

    First of all Charge your batter before you perform the HARD RESET

    Press and Hold the Volume UP + Home button ( or Volume UP + DOWN )

    You need to keep pressing these two buttons

    Press the power button for 2- 3 seconds

    Release only Power button

    Keep pressing Volume UP + HOME buttons


    That is it

    I have got your problem and i do have the right solution for it.

    1.The only way to solve your problem is to Hard reset your phone.
    2.Turn off your phone and then remove off the battery.
    3.Then re-insert the battery.
    4.And then turn on the phone by pressing the 'Power+Volume down+Home button' all at once.
    5.And then you will be taken to recovery mode.
    6.In that mode select the 'Wipe/Factory rest' phone option.

    If you are unable to do a Factory reset on your device, just do a Hard Reset.

    To do a hard reset just follow these steps:

    dear friend% to reset your phone now you have to do hard reset.* to hard reset follow these steps.* back up your data to sd card by using backup application.* switch off your phone.* weivht up to 15 sec.* remove sd card.* now press" volume up, power bottom& home bottom" & hold up to 5 sec. * a special menu will be shown.* select " wipe data" by useing volume bottom to scroll & home bottom to select.* after wipeing data * select reboot option.* your phone will be reboot switch on.your phone will be reseted.%%%%best of luck%%%%
