Samsung Galaxy Note suddenly draining battery

About 6 months ago I had a few problems with galaxy note. As part of fix they loaded 2.3 and problems went away but battery started to drain v fast without any use. Put down to SD card at time and with it out has been fine since. I don't have any SD in just the internal. Suddenly last week started draining again with Android OS showing up as major battery user at 50+% every time I check. Nothing unusual running in background and no new apps! Anyone have any ideas?

Backup your data and perform a factory reset.
    Follow these steps:
Go to settings > Backup and reset > Factory data Reset > Reset phone.
It will ask for your pattern or pin or email id and password.
Enter the details and it will factory reset.
You phone will be rebooted after done.
    This might solve your problem.

The main problem might be because of the running of the applications in the background. As you have been saying that there is no application running in the background. The problem might be that your phone is connected to the internet all the time. When ever your phone is not in use . You better switch the internet connectivity off . So that you dont get any notification updates automatically to your phone. If still the problem prevails in your phone. You better change the battery of your phone with a new one, else you still might have some more problems related to it. Hope this helps.

I think that the reason that you are having this battery drainage problem is because of the fact that the battery of your device have become faulty or you can say it has been damaged. So i think you have to replace it with a new one.You can easily get a new battery from the market. And i think it is gonna cost you around 2200-2500 rupees. After you have replaced your battery with a new one, your problem of battery drainage will be solved.

This may be because battery of your device has gone weak.No reset can solve this issue, the only way is to replace the battery with new one.Visit service centre of Samsung there tell your issue to representative. That one will check your device & let you know the exact solution for that problem.I think they will replace your device battery with new one.Cost of the battery will be around Rs 2000/-Once battery gets change then problem will be solved. If your device has not completed 1 year then you must not pay a single penny because device is running under warranty period.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note suddenly draining battery

    hello sir,

i think that you are not taking your device as a good holder.

You keep turn on all the apps even those that you are not using.

So my suggestion to you is that you should have to keep all the apps in the background turn off when you are not using them.

It will helps you a lot in saving the battery juice in to your device.

Turn the blue tooth apps turn off when you are not using that.

Also charge your device with the original charger only.

Hope you will get the solution to your query.

    That's all.

    Thank you,

    Hi friend,

Battery drain is common issue for all users. But don't worry you can avoid this by following the below tips.

---> Don't use the samsung galaxy when you kept for charging.

---> Set the less effective themes and wallpapers.

---> If battery life is totally over then change to new.

---> Switch off the wifi and bluetooth features when you not using them.

---> Turn off media files when you not listen and watch.

---> Decrease the backlight of the samsung galaxy because it will consume more battery.

    Thank you...................
