On my HTC Wildfire, Google Maps hangs the system and crashes applications like Latitude. I cannot find the back up of the saved contents too. How can I fix this problem?

This problem might be fixed if you clear the cache memory of Google maps.First of all open the main menu app from home screen of your device. After that tap over an option which is known as "Settings".Once open will see a new window, scroll down & tap over "Applications".Under applications few sub options appear now tap on "Manage applications".List of apps will appear, now scroll down until you find "Google Maps".Once get open that & a window appear, there drag down. You will find an option as "Clear cache",tap over that & memory will be cleared.

Hi.friend.., Your Google maps crashed so you need to uninstall it and download New version available in the Google play store and install it... If its showing wrong location means you can raise complaint on it via your Gmail account they ill clear that bug.., Saved contents ill be deleted so not possible to get back... To avoid these type of issues just upgrade your device... Now latest version Jelly bean is available in that all advance applications are working clearly... So update it in service center but prefer only company showrooms only.. Hope you got it, Thank you ..

My dear friend as you are describing your problem that the Google maps on your phone gets crashed every time and they do not load the previous data also.It seems to me that the application is out of date.So simply you have to update to get away from this issue. Here is the way for that,,,,

1//. First of all you have to enable Data pack on your Htc wildfire phone.

2//. Then you need to go to it's main menu.

3//. Then you have to go it's app named Google play from there.

4//. Then you have to tap on the application.

5//. Then tap on My apps option.

6//. There you will see the apps that are installed on your phone.

7//. Then you should tap on the map app.

8//. And then just tap on the update option.

    Good luck my friend~~~
