Evernote just released it’s Android version of its free program, which can be downloaded from the Android Market. Evernote allows users to take note, attach photos, even record voice notes from their phone. You can then access these notes from your Evernote account on your computer. This newest release adds location awareness, geotagging to notes, which will record the details of where it was create.
If you already had an Evernote account with notes, you will be able to access them from the Android app. The new Evernote app also comes with saved searches to for common queries, and all of the notes are backed up to your web account. There are also Windows and Mac apps available, along with a web clipper, if you want to take full advantage of the program.
As noted before, Evernote is a free program, but there is a paid version which gives you: larger uploads, collaboration capabilities, increase security, and more versatility in regards to file types.
If you haven’t used Evernote before it’s a must-try. I’ve been using it since it came out and have been dying without an Android app.
