Digg Releases New Android App
By Admin on Apr 04, 2010 with 0
Last week Digg released its first Android application. This comes only a week after Digg unveiled an app for the iPhone. For the longest time active Diggers had to rely on using Digg’s mobile site if they wanted to digg on the go. With the all new standalone application you can browse and digg top stories, share stories and switch the view to landscape mode. There are some great features in this application however we have some issues with it.
For one it seems the Digg Android application was somewhat rushed. It’s not the fastest app in the world and there is no pinch-to-zoom function. Also for some reason you don’t have the ability to leave a comment or am I missing something? Despite its shortcomings the Digg Android application looks tremendous and we think that some of the small issues will be fixed in the next versions.
You can download the Digg Android app by scanning the QR code or by searching for ‘Digg’ in the Android Market.
